Hazardous Waste

On 16th July 2005 the Hazardous Waste (England and Wales) Regulations and the List of Hazardous Wastes (England) Regulations come into force. The Regultions set out procedures to be followed when disposing of, carrying and recieving hazardous waste.

The new regime includes a requirement for producers of hazardous waste to notify their premises to The Environment Agency. As a result Allmead Commercial Recycling is registered with the EA under Premises Code NJC725 and is fully licenced to recieve hazardous waste.
